Pieces of Me

Have a heart that never hardens,
and a temper that never tires,
and a touch that never hurts.
~Charles Dickens

August 4, 2002 - I've made a new site.  You can view it by clicking on this link:  http://ashylahrose.tripod.com

June 16, 2002 -  Happy Birthday, Veron!
And Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!

June 15, 2002 - Summer vacation is halfway over.  I've spent the past couple of weeks just lazing about the house, waking up whenever, and working at Kumon in the afternoons.
We've also gone fishing a few times.  Two nights ago, we caught twelve fish.  I believe Mom cooked them and brought them to work to share with her friends.
Joy and I saw this special on CBS a few nights ago -- AFI's 100 Years....100 Passion (America's Greatest Love Stories) and since then, we've been trying to watch as many films on the list as possible.  Of course, we've already made a good start as we've seen several of them already.

May 21, 2002 - It's finals week.  One (Child Development) down and three (Human Biology, Psychology, and Medical Terminology) to go.
I found a site I like a lot:  Love Stories has "music videos" with clips from various TV shows, like Dawson's Creek, Smallville, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

May 18, 2002 - Elton celebrated his birthday at the bowling alley last Saturday.  At our lane, Auntie Bebot got the first strike, but Uncle Manny won.  I need practice.  And I need to trim my nails so they don't get caught in those finger holes (whatever they're called).

May 17, 2002 - Mom, Joy and I went fishing at Redondo for the first time this year.  We didn't catch a thing.  It wasn't until our last hour that the fish started biting, but our lines still came up empty.  Those fish are too smart -- they nibble at the bait instead of swallowing it whole and getting the hook in their mouths.

May 12, 2002 - We celebrated Mother's Day by having lunch at Seafood Town.  Our gift to Mom was a bookcase from Ikea.
After lunch, Joy and I watched Spider-Man.  That part where Peter Parker is trying out his web shooters ("Go, web!") was really funny.  And we cracked up at the line, "I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!"

May 4, 2002 - Brein sent me a couple of pictures through Mom.  I updated Khayle's page in my photo album.  Click here to see it.  The new pictures are the ones dated April 2002.
