April 21, 2002 - Sorry, I haven't been keeping this up as much.  But you know what?  I don't think anyone even reads this page.  If someone out there reads this, just drop me a quick line:  guints@yahoo.com .  If there's even one person that emails me to say, "Yes I do check out Pacey's Pond," then I'll consider not deleting the whole page.

April 17, 2002 - I especially liked this episode.  Please let Charlie turn out to be a nice guy and not the horny jerk I suspect he still is.  After seeing this, I'm tempted to buy a copy of the new M2M CD.  Maybe next time I go to the mall.

February 20, 2002 - Awwwww....I kinda wanted to see Joey and Wilder get together for real.  Sure, there's the joy of anticipation.  But how about the joys of reality?

February 13, 2002 - Okay, that had to be the LONGEST and WEIRDEST mugging in history! Who in the world spends time conversing with a creep holding you at gunpoint??? Only Joey Potter.....

February 6, 2002 - I'm happier about Pacey and Audrey getting together than I am about Joey and Wilder. Pacey and Audrey seem to fit somehow, though the sentimental side of me still has hopes for Joey and Pacey.
I can see an alcoholic Jack episode coming....

January 30, 2002 - I totally cracked up when Audrey and Pacey were teasing Joey about sleeping with the teacher and Pacey said, "Been there, done that. It was GOOD."

January 23, 2002 - Since my dad and uncle were using the big TV to watch basketball, I had to settle for TV in Dad's room which has a very bad reception. I tolerated the fuzzy images. At least I had the dialogue.
I wonder why Pacey had hooked up with Melanie. Was it only for the sex? I thought for sure she'd play a more important part in the show.

January 16, 2002 - Charlie needs to come up with some better lines. That's all I really have to say about him.
Maybe next episode is where Joey gets with her teacher? I hope so. Even if it only lasts one episode, it should be exciting.

December 19, 2001 - Missed tonight's episode because I was watching "The Lord of the Rings." I just read the episode transcript on the DC Multimedia website. (Link at bottom of page.)

December 12, 2001 - Some scary episode. Ha. Reminded me of cheesy predictable horror flicks. And Joey's kickboxing was hilarious.

December 5, 2001 - Rerun. 'Nuff said.

November 28, 2001 - If it weren't for the commercials, i wouldn't have guessed that Dawson and Jen would end up back together. It's an interesting turn of events though. And I guess it's only right that Jen, with all her experience, be the one to...uh...give Dawson his "first rites."
After all, if Joey had been the one to take his virginity, the fact that she had slept with Pacey would forever cause awkwardness between her and Dawson.
I never would've thought Jack capable of what he did to Audrey. I can't believe she forgave him so easily. On the official site, it shows that one of the scenes that never made it on air showed Audrey hitting her date after Joey tells her what Jack did. Too bad the Internet-less people or those with slow connections never got to see it.
As for Pacey and Karen...I never liked her. They were doomed from the start.

November 21, 2001 - Isn't Joey's teacher hot? Well...not really. Good-looking, yes. Hot? I don't think so. What are the chances he's really interested in Joey? I don't think it's likely. Do the writers want to play the student/teacher romance thing AGAIN? I think the only place they can go with this is that Joey will read too much into Mr. Wilder's attention and he'll have to let her down gently.
I don't really like Karen, the girl at the restaurant who's sleeping with Pacey's boss. It looks as though something will eventually develop between her and Pacey. I don't understand what he sees in her. And her character is so inconsistent. First she was bashing Pacey at every chance because she was jealous of his job. Now she's acting all nice and it doesn't make any sense.
So Dawson's going to lose his virginity to Jen next week? I wondered how long the show would keep him...ah...untouched. Or maybe things will just go so far and then one of them will change his/her mind.

November 14, 2001 - Quite predictable. Jen's revenge was just too reminiscent of the "lesbian" scene in American Pie 2. I do wonder if Jen's experience will make her swear off men and consider her own gender for possibilities.
Audrey is by far the most interesting character to hit the show in a while. However, I did find her relationship with her mother unrealistic, as though they were forcing the discord between them. It was as though you could see they were acting, so you couldn't believe in their characters.
It looks like the writers have run out of ideas because the advertisement for next week's episode show Dawson and Jen kissing. Are they so desperate that they have to resort to recycling Season 1? Or is it just time to rotate the character romances again?

November 7, 2001 - Damn...I really liked Charlie. Isn't Jen ever going to experience a relationship with love and trust? This experience may cement her cynicism. I have to admit, though...I can't WAIT to see what she does to him next week.
Tobey. What a sad story. It doesn't seem fair that a nice, sweet guy like him should have his heart broken.

October 31, 2001 - Death is such a sensitive subject. However, I think it was handled well in this episode. I admire the use of music, how an instrumental was played during the opening credits instead of "I Don't Want to Wait" so as to keep the somber tone intact.
I also like the memory scenarios. They showed the different aspects of Mitch's character as a father, husband, and friend.
Mitch's death definitely sets the stage for major changes in the series. Who can tell what they will be?

October 24, 2001 - Let me first say that I think Dawson's choice was the wrong one. If he really had faith in his destiny with Joey, then four years apart at college shouldn't have any major effect.
I wonder if Jen's and Charlie's relationship has a chance, especially when he finds it so hard to be himself around her. I like him, though. I find him very charming.
I like that Pacey and Joey have adjusted well enough to the change in their relationship and that they're mature enough to make a stab at renewing their friendship.

October 17, 2001 - I enjoyed Jen's rapport with Charlie in the radio station. However, I was disappointed to see her fall in bed with him so quickly.
Pacey was given more air time this episode, but so was his new girlfriend. Melanie or something. Looks like things may work out for him after all -- as soon as he can find a job so he won't feel like Melanie is his sugar mama.
Dawson and Joey? How long will this last, I wonder? Especially when Joey will be running into Pacey next week. Oh, what conflicts will come about...?

October 10, 2001 - I saw the season premiere. I even managed to tape most of it. I forgot to hit the record button during the segment where Jack was introduced to Audrey.
I found the episode rather predictable. Joey has to decide what her kiss with Dawson meant and where it will lead them. All of them adjusting to college life and meeting new people.
It's good to see fresh faces on the show. That is, fresh and very good-looking. I think I'd like to see Joey get with that guy who was interested in her instead of going back to Dawson. Well, the results of that phone call will make all the difference.
I was disappointed that Pacey wasn't given much air time. Maybe next week. I think he'll be introducing a new girlfriend. If not next week, eventually.

I haven't been following "Dawson's Creek" as passionately as I used to. I sort of lost the heart for it after the "True Love" episode. I got what I wanted after Pacey and Joey got together. Although I have seen more episodes, and I know the basics of what's happened to them since then, I still like to imagine that they lived happily ever after. My mind prefers to stay focused on the romance of Season 3.

My sister taped the entire first season of "Dawson's Creek" for me, so I watched it before the show was even released in the Philippines. After nearly a year, I was able to watch it weekly on Studio 23. I followed "Dawson's Creek" from the beginning up to the end of the third season. After that, I'd only watch it when it was convenient. I wasn't too happy with how Pacey and Joey's relationship was developed. They each became so concerned about not hurting the other's feelings that they couldn't be completely honest with each other.

Pacey's still my favorite character. I see a lot of potential in him. It would be nice to see him triumph over the adversities he's been through and get all the good things in life that he deserves. Even though things didn't work out between him and Joey (yet?), I'd like for him to find his "True Love."
