What Emily and Anne have in common

I must admit, I'm more familiar with Anne's story than I am with Emily's. But as I was reading the Emily books, I noticed a lot of similarities between Emily Starr and Anne Shirley, be it their characteristics, the events that they go through, or characteristics of the people they know.
These are just based on my own observations and opinions.
Make no mistake -- Emily and Anne are two VERY different people. Their similarities may be highlighted here, but their differences are also many.
If I have made any errors or you have any comments, please let me know.
